Disappearing Fish???

I have a 30 gallon reef tank with a assorted corals, a sea apple, forty pounds of lr, ten hermit crabs, ten snails, one emerald crab, and one engineer goby.
I HAD: one bicolor blenny, another engineer goby and a green chromis. Over the course of the last week, these fish disappeared. Without a trace...all of them were very healthy and eating. In fact, I have had my blenny for well over a year. Water levels are perfect and one engineer remains happy. Where are my fish going??? Has anyone ever seen anything like this. Also, I am sure that none of them jumped out because the top of the tank is covered well and I have searched. I have also searched through the inside of the tank to no avail?? Any suggestions or solutions? Thanks alot -David

What kind of corals you have? Anemones will eat them if given the chance. Maybe you have a bad shrimp or crab in there also.

Nope, no anemones. But i do have: A frogspawn, several mushrooms, yellow polyps, button polyps, star polyps. I used to have a bad crab so I know how that goes but I am pretty sure that there are no more (I got rid of him). No shrimp either. Any other thoughts??
Thanks, David

David,
I lost a mandarin gobie to an anenome that I did not know that I had. The anenome lives in the substrate, and only comes out at night. I found the mandarin sticking straight up out out of the anenome one morning (It had the mandarin half way down).
You may have one similar to the one that I have. Check you tank in the middle of the night, or early morning when it is still dark.
Good luck in finding the culpret.
