Help! We bought two new fish, and we put them in with all of our other, well established fish. The new ones apparently had ich, and it wasn't long before we lost all of our fish. We didn't have a QT set up. We still have our shellfish, but now the tank is growing excessive algae, and there are all these tiny white worms on the glass and rock - are they supposed to be there? Also, do I need to treat the water? How long before I can try new fish??
