Vinegar in a spritz bottle like they use at the hair salon. Spray and wipe.Very easy.
Or a shower head with a jet setting, like a teldyne water pik, turn it on hot, put the tank in the tub, pull the shade, and spray away.

Not gonna do you much good...it will "cook" some of that algae to your stuff. But if you don't mind green. . . :)
Tony D. has the right idea. I used vinegar all the time to clean my algae encrusted tank stuff. Spray heavily w/vinegar, let sit for a little while, and gently wipe off the scum (don't damage that acrylic!)...keep doing it until the stuff comes clean. If it were glass, you could just scrape it...
I discovered the vinegar solution because of my dog....My dog leaves nose prints on my glass door all the time. It builds up like a nasty soap scum on a glass shower door....no household cleaner made it easy to remove....until I just used straight vinegar. No more nose prints...
