Distilled vs. purified

What is the difference between distilled water and purified water? They both say they use RO. Which one is better for top offs?

im not sure about purified, but I heard some distilled water is bad for your tank...

Distilled water is pure water, pure h2o..not sure if RO is a step in the proccess of distilling, normally a collecting of condisation or evaperation proccess........Purified is normally RO and then UV or visavera...
