We are required to study abroad for one semester, which is not a typical abroad program. It is mostly independant and not at a university or college. We will have contacts from those places, but will not attend regular classes... for 14 weeks.
I have choosen Belize, and will be studying eco-tourism, focused on sustainable managemant practices, and reef restoration.

I am asking for any advise from experienced divers and anyone who has gone to belize for and help or suggestions. This will be my first time abroad. I am looking for low cost houseing and accesibility to the main land.
