as far as i know clowns can be found in every major reef habitat, there is a large variety of them and each type evolved for a specific locale.
thanks for the kind words guys
that squid was nearly 2.5 feet long and watched us for about 5 minutes. the tentacles were a good 12-15"

hey man great pics, my buddy also went on a diving trip and showed me the pictures he took. They looked the same kind of blue to them all so i tried just an auto level function on adobe, and all the real color came out in the picture, ill work on a few for ya and repost them for you, tell me if you like them, probably later today

yea i am waiting for my buddy to get me a new copy of PS and i was going to do the same. i was able to get some really nice color out of the key's diving pics i took a few weeks back, but most of those were with my camera that had a red lense, these pics were taken by my dive buddy and his rig had no red lense

Very nice pictures. I never realized that most of the acroporas in the wild really arent as colored as the ones in our tanks. Sorry mother nature, you need to replace those bulbs!

actually most were better. this camera did not have a red lense so it is difficult to get a feel for the actual colors that we percieved with our own eyes. there were purples, turqouises and yellows the likes of which i have never seen before.
