ok guys if you read some of my other post I am looking at building a aquarium for a ray. I would like to make this aquarium 5'x5'x1'. I am planning on using 1/4" acrylic for hte side panels and I am not sure about the bottom piece. it will be the piece that gets all the pressure from the water. I am thinking of either using thicker glass, using playwood for the bottom, ot using 1/4" glass and then bracing it really good with a good stand. I am not sure about the best course of action on this and I wanted to get some opinions. any help would be greatly appreciated.
