DIY Auto Water Changer Idea.

I am in the process of setting up my 45gallon reef with 29gallon sump/fuge. My display tank and sump/fuge are on the main level of my house. The sump/fuge is in the stand under the display tank. My plan is to have two 20gallon "BRUTE" containers in the basement directly under the stand. Container "1" will be for new salt water, and container "2" will be for old salt water. Container "1" will house a magdrive 5, a maxijet PH, a heater, and a float valve connected to water line from ro/di unit. I will have a magdrive 2 in the sump for sucking out old salt water. Container "2" will have 2 float switches, one connected to magdrive 5, and one connected to magdrive 2. Both magdrive 2, and magdrive 5, along with both float switches will be wired to an on/off switch located inside the stand. To do a water change I will flip switch inside the stand, since container "2" will be empty pumps will start immediatley via float switches. When container "2" is full the float switches will turn the pumps off. Then I can flip switch off inside the stand, so container "2" can be emptied into a drain in the basement via ball valve. The tricky part will be adjusting flows of both new salt water going into sump, and old salt water going out of sump. I plan on adjusting flows using ball valves. I also am thinking of having another switch inside stand to turn off heater, and maxijet located inside container "1", unless I can have them hooked up backwards to the switch for the magdrives so when I power on the magdrives the maxijet, and heater will turn off. I will also hook up a ball valve inside the stand to close water lines from ro/di.
Any suggestions or comments would be great.
Thanks
