This is a Pic of the separation that I made from the leftover Acrylic that I had.
This is not set in place and I still need to put some other things (Like the Pipe connection in) But it works. even if it is ugly.

Here is a Pic of the top. I left this un-screwable so I can change the media out when I need to. But This is coming together nicely.
There will be more pics through out the week.

Ok so the Wrong pump was sent and I had to return it and get the new 1 sent. So Now I was able to continue with the Build.
So I got a Maxi-Jet 1200 for the pump. Yes it is a power head. But on a good note You CAN USE it as a out of tank pump. The instruction for this application are included with the MJ

So I had to start modifying the fittings to go on to the MJ.
Here I took a Regular PVC MTP to Slip adapter and cut the end off. I then had to use my dremmel to widen the hole till it fit snug to the MJ. At that point I used a 2 part epoxy on the outside and JBweld #16 on the inside. This provided a nice tight fit and a super seal.

Ok so I am almost done. I got almost everything put together.
All I have to do is 1 glue the bottom on and add a intake for the C02

So I tried out the CA reactor.
2 issues I am working on.
1 Getting the air out of the CA while filling it.
2 a few leaks that I need to patch up.
JBweld#16 for the win on the leaks. I am still working on the air issue.

Maybe try a air relief valve on top.
Im curious to see how well this works ,looks great though.

I was thinking about that. I am looking for a PVC valve just for that. BUT the thing that I am thinking is that would also let the CO2 escape.
But when I did have it going it worked Perfectly. Now I just have to wait to get the CO2 tank to see what size I need my line to be to go in to the reactor. But yea the water pumped fine once I had the reactor filled.

Well I found out how to get rid of the air. So I am good there.
But unannounced to me my father bought a Calcium reactor for my birthday and it just came in So now I have the 500g model Coral life CA reactor.

So looks like this will go in to the closet of sold for 30$ either way, at least I know this works.

Fill it with sulfur media and turn it into a denitrator. Just block off the Co2 input and you're good to go.
