DIY canopy

So i'm in the middle of my DIY canopy build and decided to take some pics along the way so I can get some feedback from everyone. So far, it is just the frame. This weekend im probably going to go and buy some nicer wood to put over the frame and some doors. I also bought some lights online which should be coming on mon. I bought 2x55w T-5 actinics and 2x175w Metal Halides, and an icecap cooling fan. Also, I would like to point out that I had to cut all of the wood by hand because my parents won't let me use the electrical saws and my dad cant cut a straight line. I know it isnt much, and the pics are a little blurry, but tell me what you think.

looks good, one question though , is the plywood pressure treated ?? it looks it in the pictures, I'm not totally sure but if it is you may have to be careful putting it over your tank do to the possibility of it leaching toxins from it when it gets wet or the condensation drips into the tank. you may just be able to really layer the paint pretty thick and get away with using it .
for only hand tools and saws your doing a GREAT job....

Im not really sure if its pressure treated or not. So far my plan is to put 2-3 coats of paint and then another 2-3 coats of polyurthane

You may consider cutting the back down... removing about half of the back piece along the bottom will allow equipment that hangs on the tank, or electrical cords, etc to be maipulated without removing the canopy, and it will result in less heat buildup in the tank.

I already did cut about 4" off the back. All of the filters n things fit perfectly fine under it.
