DIY float valve for RO/DI?

Do anyone ever built a DIY float valve for a RO/DI? I need one for mine because its keeps overflowing my buckets. I have a RO/DI from ************** and they use the auto-shutoff valves when it there is too much pressure, so it just has to stop the water coming from the pure water line so that there is enough pressure to trip the valve. Any help would be appreciated. thanks

What is it you are trying to do? Set up an auto top off system or just fill some buckets when you are not home?

I just want to fill up some buckets when Im not home.

You can buy a float valve that mounts horizontally in the side of the bucket. When the water level rises it will shut off once it hits the float.
