diy fuge top ?

does anyone have any pictures of there fuge top? I plan on making a new one for my 20gl. I have made 2 and both have sucked. The first broke the first time I tried to clean it and the second one looks like crap, the glue dosen't hold, and it has also broke at the ends when I try to clean where the light shines through. This is a pic of the second.

what are you giong to do if the power goes off and the DT drains back into the fuge? Looks like it might overflo to me. Just curious though.

yeah it will I did not plan on it when I made the fuge but I'm in the process of fixing that thanks for the concern. Any ideas on a top?

Use thicker acrylic and nothing will break it and it wont flex. If not available around you, Ill mail you a scrap of 1/4 inch thick piece just pay shipping.
For the cut outs and notches a router works great. Smooth and clean instead of fighting with trying to cut if conventionally with table saw. Router really makes it look pro too.
