I thought I would post this here. I made this for my horse tank. as soon as it dries good, I will start curing it in fresh water.

first I took small tubing like you would use for water systems, its plastic but bendable.
I cut the size I wanted, then drilled some small holes in it. I then frilled lrger holes so I could attach the branches. I bent them in the shape I was happy with befor super glueing them in place. I glued the whole thing to a round piece of glass I bought at the craft store.

Then I took plastic screening and wrapped the whole thing

Then I mixed portland cement with agg sand, and covered the whole thing with a nice layer

I let this cure for a couple of days covered in plastic.
Today I mixed more cement and sand, and covered with another layer and them poured sand over the whole thing. once it drys I will rinse off the extra sand and cure in freshwater until the ph is stable. then I will cure in saltwater for a few weeks - monitoring the Ph.

ok....that is awesome !!!!! ohhhh man , I'm gonna have to copy !! And covered with coraline algae , it'll be a beauty !!! WOW !! Thanks for showing how you did that

Thanks, I am excited. Its soaking in fresh water now. I am hoping it wont take too long to cure since it only has two layers of cement. I cant wait to get it in the tank.
