DIY LED set up

want to go check here at a local (Thailand) LED design store what it would cost to do my project
I was thinking of a set up of 2 panels
length 71"
width 7.1"
with 171 white LED and 69 blue which would make in total 240light points spaced in 4 rows of 60 about 1.5 inches from eachother
spaced out like the attachment
note the light blue dots in the middle which would get a seperate connection as moonlight. All other blue and white lights will have seperate dimming capability.
Tank is 71L X 19.7D X 19.7W
would this be enough light or too much?
enough blue compared to white?
should I use 1W or 3W bulbs?? I would think due to the amount of light point 1W bulbs would do?
need alot of advise on this

We need to know a lot more information if you want help like, What size tank? What dimensions? What are you planning to keep livestock wise?
I would reconfigure the light set up... blend the blue and white bulbs together more uniform.

I think i gave the tank size no?
71L X 19.7D X 19.7W
live stock is well documented when you check my previous posts with loads of pics of my tank in here.
I was thinking the same thing about more uniform configuration
so would red or any other color help?

Sorry, I thought you were listing the dimensions for the footprint of the light you wanted to build. No offense, but I'm not going to search old posts to figure out what you want to know. You need to provide a summary of what you are currently keeping, plan on keeping among other things.

Looks better IMO. As long as you acclimate the light right everything sounds good. Sky is the limit!!

so should I create holes in the setup?
should I leave some vertical lines out?
How many lightpoints with 3W would be ok for my size tank

Like I said before, you need to provide more information so that someone know may know a little something, can help you.
1 or 3w LED does not tell me anything. What are you driving at? What percentage after that? What degree optics? How high from the water is the light going to be? How high from the sandbed? Coral placement?
Why would you use more 1w LEDs and not less 3 watts with the right optics? It seems like you need to do some more research so you can provide the necessary info.
