can i cure diy live rock in a cycling tank?

the curing of DIY live rock is to rid it of chemicals.... these chemicals are not the same then on uncured live rock... not only this but you may be in curing DIY rock for months

cure the rocks seperately and then when my tanks done cycling put them in?

your tank will be done cycling far before this rock will be ready.

I think what he's getting at is you need to put your DIY LR in a seperate container (Like a garbage can or plastic bin) to cure it.
Something like this.
