DIY Quick Way To Increase Light Output

This is a great way that you can dramatically increase the output fom your lights!
you'll need:
-1 towel or paper towel
-Fresh water
1. Soak the towel/paper towel in fresh water
2. Go to your aquarium
3. Gain access to the lid and/or all other "transparent" glass/plexiglass between your lights and aquarium
4. Use the freshwater-soaked towel to remove all of the grime from your lid/lense
5. Notice a dramatic improvement in your ligh output
I just tried this myself and it really works!!!

I already discovered that . Its helps especially when tank has been running for awhile. Reflectors also help the output.

im with b ball, wesdays i do most of my tank maintance if not all, then on sat i finish it up or clean the outside of the tank(no chemicals) just a spoung and water and a towel
