DIY Reflector

Has anyone done a canopy and made their own reflector. What did you use and do you think it is better than a commercial made aluminum reflector?

I looked into purchasing polished aluminum from a steel dealer. The problem is I couldn't find anyone that would sell me a cut piece, I would have had to purchase the entire sheet for around 150$. If you could find a place that would cut a piece for you it may be a little cheaper but then you will have to bend it.

A high gloss white paint would be good also if your not looking to spend 150.00

I lined the inside of my canopy, where the reflector did not cover, with alum. tape. Got it from HD. Was like 7 bucks a roll. Werks pretty good.
