diy refugium

Since I will be creating My own Refugium Out of my existing sump. I would like to know if a regular Rubbermaid Tub would be a good replacement for the sump for a day or 2.

should be fine to sub a rubbermaid tub for the sump,i mix my ro/di water and salt in a rubbermaid tub before doing a water change. i do not know however how long you can do this with the sump,but if its only for a couple days it should be fine,just rinse it out very well to get any dust or plastic particals out
