well i decided i wanted to test my dkh to have the proper level to grow corraline faster. i bought the salifert kit, and from the best i can tell my dkh is above 16. i used the whole 1ml syringe and it still didnt change from blue green to orange or pink. it is so light colored i can hardly tell too, i am colorblind so its hard. finally after another .5 ml it turned clear which might have been light pink. so really that means my dKH is 24. how is this even possible? what is the level supposed to be at?

Just to make sure, you ARE using the calcium by seachem and NOT the ALK product?
If so what are you using for buffer?
