Do all frogspawn branch?

I just p/u a green metallic frogspawn. Do all frogspawn branch? I did a search and saw alot of nice ones that branched and then were fragged. Tks for info.

As far as I know they will branch. I've had mine since December and it has branched in two different places and been fragged twice. It will branch quicker with proper levels of Ca, and alk, and probably something else, but I'm not real sure about it.

I believe there are two types, one is a branching and one is a solid skeleton. I know that there are two types of hammer, and I think it is the same with frogspawn. Generally you will see the branching type more often than the solid skeleton (sorry I don't know the proper term).

Hey birdy, how do the solid skeletal hammers and FS's propagate? Through release of eggs and sperm??? I've never really heard of that kind of FS.

Well the ones that I have seen just continue to grow like a branching ones instead of new branches they just grow longer, I have heard you can just break part of the skeleton off to frag them, but it seems to be much easier to frag the branching ones. I am not sure if they spawn or not. I cannot find much info on the non-branching type.

It's called a scrolling Frogspawn.
