i have seen blue legged hermit crabs kill each other for the shells. i have seen an emerald crab kill a cleaner shrimp. usually they dont but it does happen. dont get coral banded they look so cute but they are mean. try buying out of a tank that has a variety in it if they are all getting along you will probably be fine

if you have damsels and want a shrimp go with a CBS they don't take crap from anything god mine chases the damsels around but other than that he just protects himself he is very peacful with the rest of my inverts my two yes two sally lightfoot crabs will "argue" if they come across each other which doesn't happen often i've also got the decorator crab and nothing bothers him i would just stay away from the regular hermits they will eat anything they can get ahold of i've got one and he has killed three snails already I hear a pretty good shrimp is a fire shrimp but don't know much about them from personal experience

yeah, the fire shrimp has a great color, think i could keep the banded and fire together, and want to have two shrimps in there

i guess that would depend on tank size and amount of LR but couldn't say for sure. as i've never housed both togeather.

My emerald crab has killed a coral banded shrimp--he has done this 2 seperate times,
but yet he has left my peppermint shrimp alone, I have 3.

I think my coral banded killed my firefish, but he doesn't go near my fire shrimp (who was in the tank 6 months before I introducted the coral banded). I'm debating taking my coral banded back, but i don't know if he really killed the firefish (it disappeared two days after i got the coral banded).
