I just came downstairs and looked in on my tank and my anenome lookes wilted and the center is open and showing... well except for the food that I fed him yesterday laying in the center... does this sound strange or what?:help:
   :scared: :nervous:

Yes they can expell waste, it only goes in and comes out one way.
Unless there is another problem, could be lighting, could be stress from water quality or something else, which is making it expell its zooxanthellae. That would be a bad thing.
Wait until your lights go on and then in a few hours let us know if it looks better.
What kind of anemone is it?

Oh yeah, until you get used to them they can make you panic, think they are dead or dieing, only to come back bigger and better sometimes.
Glad yours looks better, thanks for updating.
