do corals get ich?

corals can get there own form of parasites numerous to mention there are ways to deal with treating them like QT and fresh water dips ive heard (please research that as i have not dont take my word).
as to Ich in particular the parasite will not attack corals but it may be a transporter of the parasite into your system via eggs, or flee floating stages of the parasite. Hense why corals should also be QT in a fish less system to make sure nothing comes into your tank.

will i have a long tentacle anemone and he has whits speaks all over it, and i have two mushrooms that have whits speaks on them too, do you think they have ich, or is that normal? i am glad i read this site, thanks for any info on this matter would greatly be apreciated. have a great day...ginarox

Do you have a pic? I get white specks of sand on my mushrooms and open brain, mostly my scooter kicks them up searching for food. I thought it was something bad, but seen the blennie sifting and specks of sand would land on the corals in the sandbed. Usually gone the next day or two. JME

i dont have a blenny, so i am afraid that i might have ich on my corals,,when my lights come on in the aquarium i will get some close up pictures of them and put them up here and let you see what you think,,,thanks ,,,have a great day ,,ginarox
