Do I have slime algae on my live rock?

Yesterday I purchased a beautiful piece of live rock. The clerk presented me with the piece & it was beautiful due to a green plant that was growing on it. A short, green, fine textured plant. when a friend of mine saw it, he wondered if it was slime algae. Now I'd like to think that my lfs did not sell me slime algae, but to make sure, what does slime algae look like? Does it have a slimy texture? The plant on my rock does not. Cyanobacteria aka slime algea is slimy in texture and rubs off easily but regrows quickly.

Slime algae does not resemble a plant at all.It looks more like a slimey,snot like gook that covers the rock or glass in a blanket like layer.
