do i need a Co2 system and what does it do???

You know that is a good question. I have never heard of someone puting one on a saltwater tank before.
They are most commonly used for freshwater plant tanks. They help the plants grow. I am currently planning on making a cheap Co2 system for my plant tank. If you do a search for 'Poor Man's C02' you will find my plans.
I don't think it is necessary for salt though.
