Do I need a powerhead/pump if I have Filter?

I'm wanting to know if I need a 106 gph pump if I have a 95 gph filter?
If so: would I need a 106 gph pump if I had a 125 gph filter?

I would have a small powerhead with any of the filters you are thinking about using.

Matt - It was just going to be a tank for my zoas to grow out in..
But after reading other 10 gallon owners' threads I am either thinking about a small occelaris, or two.
Or a goby/pistol combo..
Lion - so the 106 gph pump, and the 95 gph filter would be fine?

I have no clue what that is.
I was going to get the maxi-jet 400 and a filter/skimmer combo
Is that too much flow?
