I have a 20 gallon tank with a submersible fluval2plus filter.It comes with a venturi nozzle attachment which adds lots of extra aeration and the bubbles keep the top of the water clean and clear of small particles.
Does anyone know if a protein skimmer is necessary if water remains clear and their is no foam or particles on top of tank?
