Do I need live rock?

Here is the deal. I have a 55 gal with ugf and crushed coral as a substrate. I run an magnum pro 350 for filtration. The tank has been set up for 13 years. All water specs are perfect. Nitrates are only 10ppm. The readings are always the same. I do a 10 gal water change every two weeks. Never had a crash, never even had a spike. I have absolutely no algea whatsoever. Not even on the glass. I bought this all 13 years ago when ugf's were popular. I have never experienced the death of a fish due to water problems. After joining this board, I would have gotten live sand and live rock but it is too late now and I don't want to ruin something that is running perfect. My question is , what would the benifit of live rock be to my system as it is. Do I need It? Any help would be appreciated.
PS:
I also use tap water for all my water changes and top offs. I guess I am one of the lucky ones who has good water.

lr is a good thing but it can send your tank into another cycle if it isnt cured all the way or it can anyways depending on whats on it

no suprise here on your 13 year old system. Agrees with my experience from years ago only I let the algae grow.
I would hate to tear all that down with it working so well.
Is there any possibility you could set up a new tank and use the ls and lr there?
