Do i need the blue 420 blubs?

I was at my lfs store and the sales guy said as long as i have the blue LED lights and my 250 watt metal halide i dont need the acintic blue 420 blubs. Is this correct.

Yes, he is correct. However, I have notices that the actinic bulbs do help certain colors of my fish and corals pop more
