i got an excellent post in new hobbiest. but the pics look kind of hard for me to accomplish this.
who do i contact to drill holes in my tank? and once that is done what exactly do i need to do to plumb the tank?
i have a large w/d i can use as a sump right now, it has hang ons but i want to get rid of that because the tank is in the middle of the room and will be seen from both sides.

CIndy,
I would think you would have a LFS close by that could lead you to someone to drill the tank and help you find the plumbing. Biggest thing is to decide how you want the plumbing set up. With the way you want it setup I would think one large overflow on the end of tank by the wall with 2 return lines on the same side then a closed loop on the other end to aid in circulation. I would think any decent lfs could help you with a quick design, if not I am sure some of our artist here could draw something up for you pretty quick.

a drawing would be great!!! i hope someone does that. the whole concept is new to me
as far as lfs one just opened up here recently, everything else is a bit of drive (small town) and being the one here, its a bit pricey. plus due to a disability i dont drive so this is gonna be a tough one for me!
thanks for your input :)
