Do I need to treat an Eal for ick ?

My tank got infected with ick 4 days ago. I did not know anything about it this disease till i read all about on this bb.
I am going hypo now but unfortunately, i still lost my lion fish and puffer one after another. I am still attempting hypo on a grouper and hope that it will make it. he seems to be ok.
I do have an Eal also. Do you move the eal in the hospital tank during hypo process like infected fish or leave it in the display tank. I guess my question is,
Q. "What should i treat an Eal like?"
An invertibrate or fish ?

All fish must be treated and the main tank left wo fish for 1 mo. Even if the eel does not show signs of disease, it is a carrier. Ick will not die-off in a tank that still has fish in it.
Be sure to follow the procedures for hyposalinity corrected.
