Do Nassarius Snails Climb Out?

I called around to see what kind of snails my LFS have and one guy told me that he would never put nassys in a tank b/c they always climb out. He said for ever 100 he buys 75 end up on the floor.
I don't think I've read a single post about them even climbing on the glass.
Thoughts?

mine climb on the glass, but go right back down. maybe he's gotten periwinkles sold to him as nass snails...

I have never seen them actually climb out. Maybe that guy has poor water quality

everyone makes mistakes, even this site has whelks pictured as nass snails. maybe he was a little confused, or worse, the person that sold him nas snails sold him something else.

Early, mine haven't climbed out yet. They will crawl all over the glass, but have not come out of the water.

He has some crazy huge spiral looking snails that bury themselves. Anyone know what kind of snail this might be.

How big is it? What color shell?

I am looking for it. But in my search (sorry to change the subject) I found out that I just didn't buy nassarius snails, I bought SUPER TONGAN NASSARIUS SNAILS.

Mystery Snails will sail up the glass during feeding time,try to go frather after it is at the edge of the glass,and falls down and sinks in the sand it is funny,they will do it every time
I'm just confused why I don't see any for sale anywhere else? :notsure: Maybe they are bad and I got lucky
