Do Orange Banded Hermits Molt? Help!

I was looking in my tank this morning and saw my coral banded shrimp pulling something up out of the sand( it was kinda buried and fleshy on the backside). When I looked closer it looked like one of my orange banded hermits minus the shell. Do orange banded hermits molt or Do all hermits molt? Or was he breakfast for one of the other critters? Thanks

Blues and reds molt so I would assume the oranges molt too.

all hermits, shrimp, etc... anythign with an exo skeliton will molt

Yup......as far as I know all hermits molt.....and coral banded shrimp have been known to make a snack of hermits if they are available.....or it could have been removing the remains of a molt.....in any case I don't know that I'd trust a coral banded.....lots of folks do but I've always been lerry of them myself.
