Do peppermint shrimp Nocturnal?

Bought some peppermint shrimp and was wondering if there nocturnal or will I see them during the day.
What also what about serpent star fish nocturnal?

I second kipass said, I have had to buy peppermint shrimp a couple times, I just bought some a couple of days ago as a matter of fact and I wasnt really worried about them not comming out and now they are finally comming out about 2.5 weeks after introducing them.

my peppermints usually hide most of the time, hangin upside down under some rocks, they mostly come out when food is floating around.

I have 5 and they will swim up and eat from my hand. One actually will swim upside down to the top of the tank and skim along the top water when food is there. It is very funny to watch!

I have 8 peps...and they come runnin when flakes are dropped in.

Yup the one i has seems to be shy and nocturnal.
Kip - what is the species name of the type of peppermint we talked about last night on AIM that will eat aiptasia? Also are more than pep shrimp ok with cleaner shrimp?

Mine only come out when its feeding time. I have two

my 4 come out during feeding time, and at night other than that they usually stay pretty well hidden!
