Do sally lightfoots normally bury themselves?

Just like the thread says do sally lightfoots normally bury themselves in the substrate?

No, Ive never seen that, but I have crushed coral, not sand. She usually hangs out under the rock cliffs.

i have cc substrate as well. I just got it yesterday maybe the lfs posted as the wrong crab i had never actually seen a good picture of one before. Can someone post a good pic for me?

I wish my sally lightfot would have buried itself and died...damn things are a pest in my opnion....harmless when they are small, dangerous when large....but to answer your question, no mine just played on the rocks jumping at fish...never on the sand

That pic doesn't look like the sally lightfoot I had.....are there different types? most kinds I see are brown and look like spiders, like the one on this link http://www.aquariumarts.com/sallylightfoot.html
