Do seahorses fight?

I have noticed what looks like aggression. One horse gets in the face of the other and then they touch noses... then one takes off like a bullet and turns its back to the sniffer. The sniffer (TT) chases after (M&M) who jerked away and went to hiding place.
I also noticed the other day... one horse wrapping its tail around another and then the one really struggles to get lose...then goes to a spot to try and hide.

Yes, but its usually males snicking at each other over a female, and or setting up dominance. Not really seen it in females, but they may be just setting up thier pecking order. Could you post full body shots of all of them for me. I want to take a look.
oh and the grabbing with the tail is normal. They are like little monkeys and will grab anything, even each other.

I will try in the morning..lights are out for the night. They hide so well..none of them look injured and all are eating good and are very active. The fighters are the two smaller ones.

I just want to see their bellies, lol
I knew deep down that is what you wanted..to just check for pouches..I can't go there, I want to put my head in the sand and not think of tiny seahorse babies that will die. Or males to get bubbles stuck in a pouch for me to release...NO NO NO AAAHHH
So I mentioned no injuries to keep the fantacy alive. I'm pretending they all have fat round bellys because they eat so well. Girls are supposed to be squared off and all of mine are round as can be in the tummy.

If they r round...then I would think they r males...males occassionally" fight" but I have never personally experiencedit. It should only last a couple days then subside as the pecking and mating order is established. If it persists more than a few days you will have to separate them.
