Do Snails Breed in S/W tanks like F/W

No not really, they don't multiply in the same way...I have some(for lack of a better name) conical snails...they look like a flat cone, and they came in on my lr and have just multiplied slowly but steadily. So, in comparison they're no where near the nuisance of the fresh waters'. hope that helps! Dave ;)

I think they will if your tank has lots of calcium and is very heatly I have many small snails in my tank but I not sure if its their babys.

I have several black colored conical snails (cortez cerith) that leave eggs strands on my tank walls about every other month. The strands soon disappear and I have not seen any lil guys wandering around. 'Course something could be eatin em. Meanwhile my FW tank has roughly 50 rams horn snails. They were introduced with a plant and do a great job of keeping the algea under control and grow very slowly.
I think that SW snails grow very slowly (compared to their FE brothers) and are not as hardy. I have lost a couple Mexican Turbos (one that was almost 3 inches across) because they landed one their backs and I wasn't home to turn them over......
Anyway the answer is no..... I think. ;)

Yes snails on their backs is a pain. With close to 40 of them in my tanks every day I have to take my tongs and flip over the ones on their backs. Even my large Queen Conch snails can't right themselves if they flip and they are huge snails to start (these are in my big Puffer tanks- they are more rounded with a small slit and the Puffs can't eat them).
