Do sps corals release toxins when they die?

I agree with nycbob leathers and some other softies do but never heard of a sps doing that

Yea if it was a pathogen. I dont really think SPS would release much, if any. Its hardly any tissue, mostly skeleton.

any coral containing palytoxin or other "chemical warfare" compounds will, leathers release terpines, Etc.
