Do you have a JBJ Cube???

My ballast blew out today..... None of my LFS's carry...they have only Red Sea and Oceanic...they buy from distributors and I guess JBJ is direct sale. I just went to place an order...have to replace the hood and ballast as the new ballasts aren't compatible... and they don't offer anything more than ground shipping...I am in need, asap. I have $200 worth of corals coming in the morning from this site. I'm in panic...not sure what to do. They are based out of MO....can't drive there from MA...not reasonably anyway What would you do??

this is the 5th time ive heard that happened. you shoudlve gotten a oceanic. well i would put them in the tank. corals can go for a couple of days without light. im pretty sure. well idk about the shipped ones. and also what type of corals did you get?

Well that really sucks. On sleazebay, you can buy a 20 inch 70 watt sunpod. It is a metal halide. You can either hang it from the ceiling or it has adjustable legs. It is a bit big for the tank, it will hang over about 2 inches on both sides, no big deal in my opinion. There is one there now for $190, with free shipping. You may be able to find it cheaper if you google. That is the route I would go if it were me, HTH.
