No, but my LFS has a bunch in a indoor pond/reef set-up.
They have them in medium grade sand I would say, not crushed coral but not fine sand either, somewhere in the middle as far as size. You can feed them by hand, very tame. I don't really know what your question is other than, Can I get one?

i am setimg up a 125gal tank with 55gal sump & 45gal l/r sump on the side so not a lot of l/r in the 125gal so a lot of swiming room.

I would say around 265g MIN. for the smallest of rays (Cortez Rays).

Looking at a big tube 9ft6ft4ft.
My old lfs was useing it as a l/r tank.
With sand about 3'' and it will have a tie in to my dt,s filter sys.
I think it will help my d/t may put in some l/r aswell.
