you can just add to the water but i don't think it has the same effect. I soak my food in zoe for 12 to 24 hrs and it works great.

I've been soaking the food but it seems like it would be easier to just add it to the water.

If it is good quality food and not old it should be fine. Just make sure that you feed vegis to vegitarians and meats to carnivores. I only soak for new fish-finicky eaters, or if they are stressed.

I soak all food for at least 10 mins before feeding. Adding to the water just dillutes it out, and who is eating it???? Every meal my fish gets is soaked in vitamines.

Alyssia, sorry dear, didn't even realize that this was your post!!!!! I rotate the vitamines. I have vitachem, selcon, and Zoe. I use a mix of frozen foods, with some dried seaweed and sometimes a little flake, but their food always has vitamines in it.

Well, you should be sorry!

Okay, I guess I'll continue to soak the food. It just gets old but I want my fish to stay healthy, of course!
