We have a black clown and an onyx clown that have been together for YEARS! They have started doing their twitching and the onyx male has been cleaning under his frogspawn (where both of them host) for about a month or two. He chases the wrasse away and so does the female.
Now... the male will only go an inch or two away from the frogspawn in the last day or two. We cannot find any orange eggs of any sorts though. Even when we go to feed, he wont leave the frogspawn. Any ideas?
Tank specs:
34 gallon red sea max.
Black female clown.
Onyx male clown.
Brittle star.
Six line wrasse.
Abalone snail.
Lots of corals/hermits/snails.
