I got this email yesterday...
This is the story that was with it...
Losing your lease...
The story goes: A group of hunters were losing their lease after
25 years of painstaking quality deer management. They felt inclined to
take the fruits of their labor on their final hunt.
What do you think it looks real?

Some of those deer look like they're trying to raise their heads up, which would point to a photoshop. Either way, someone somewhere has too much time on their hands...

I think the photo might be real, but the story is not. These are all mounts, you can tell be the postured heads, which may be what the group has accumlated over time, but they definately did not get that many trophy bucks in "a final hunt".

I don't know about the mounts you can see lags and stuff...

I will tell you why it is either very staged or photoshoped . Look at the leaves in the forground . A good tracker, hell anybody that has been hunting will look at how pristene the leaves are and know they did not drag (from my count 17) animals into that spot and place them in a pile . The leaves would be crushed and the area would be a lot less perfect .

You hit it right on the head. even if they carried the deer into position, their own footsteps would have mangled the leaves. The only possible excuse would be if they purposely spread the leaves out to dress up th picture. One thing I can tell is that they are not mounts. If you look closely, none of the eyes are open, no one pays all that money for a mount with its eyes closed. Also, with the color of the leaves, that tells you its fall which would be archery season in Pennsylvania. Archery season falls during the rut(the mating season)and I'ver never heard of that many bucks in the same area during the rut.

all the eyes look open to me...
i think its just mounts because i dont see any legs or bodies at all, just the head s and necks
