does any one play diablo 2

just curious if any one here plays the expansion set of diablo 2 and if youve beat it how the heck you beat the barbarian ancients I am stuck on them.

lol i have played that game way too much. i am guessing you are playing solo and not online, and this is your first time through it?
what character are you playing, what level, and what skills and levels do you have?

Wow, I used to play that game religiously, but its been at least 5 years or so since I've touched it. Too addicting!!!

i actually keep it around and played it a few months back when i lost internet connection at my house, it was a good back up. so its still sort of fresh.
a good place to start would be a search for a website called Arreatsummit.com
the spelling might be off a bit , which is why i suggest searching.
but i will help if i can.

I'm playing a barbarian, level 31 most points in sword mastery, double swing, bash. (14 in sword mastery 7 in bash the 4 in doubleswing 5 in stone skin one in immunities)
yeah I have had the game for years but finnaly started playing it hard a week ago (never got beyond act one before last week)

ouch , you picked some sorta rough skills to work with. its gonna be tough. you will need a tank of some sort, to take the attention away from you. a freezing mercenary zon would be a good asset. check out that website

I have a good mercenary who freezes actually have given him really sweet armor but he dies so fast I cant even kill one of the ancients before they are all over me again. I'm thinking A high power Ice weapon would help but they are hard to find, I even bought hundreds of potions and covered the groud with them so I didn't have to leave to restock my belt but its just not enough they do to much damage to fast.

yea if i remember correctly the ancients as a barb is VERY tough. that website will contain a lot of tips and tricks for each character as well as hints on just how to beat them in walkthroughs / FAQs. lots of info on their. hate to say it but you may end up starting over to build the skill tree properly. its a common mistake pumping the points into the wrong skills. they will explain why some make no sense at all to touch and some should be maxed out.
