Does anybody really like Kelly Clarkson?

She is a pop star, so I'm assuming some people like her... her music dominates that radio. I'll admit that she was good on American Idol, too.
However her music is so childish... really, "My life would suck without you", and the new one I heard yesterday, "I don't hook up".... How old is she, 14? I think she's talented but her voice sounds like crap in these bubble-gum, teeny bopper songs. I roll my eyes every time I hear her music.
What are your thoughts?

Is the country one the one that wore the Reese's t-shirt for a commercial once? Then I would say yeah she is hot but her name escapes me as well right now.

I actually like that song. It is not something that I look for, but when my daughter plays it in the car on her ipod, I like hearing it. I like hearing the whole album, CD or whatever they are called now.
Crimzy, just think what music your daughters will be listeining to when they are teenagers. Fortunately I like my daughters taste in music. But you had better embrace the generation gap.

I have no problem with most of the current top 40. I like Nickelback, Gwen Stefani, and a bunch of others who I can't name. I listen to this type of music most of the day at work. But something about the pointless drivel from her is annoying to me. I know she's got a good voice, but it doesn't sound good in these songs... and the songs are completely useless. I'd rather listen to "I kissed a girl" for the millionth time.

i dont care for that style of music at all... but having a 10 year old daughter i get asked nonstop to listen to the top 40 bubblegum station when she is in the car... Kelly Clarkson does have a great voice, just not my cup of tea... i am just about sick of Taylor Swift...

I'm always the minority in this place! I love Kelly Clarkson and I hate when people call her fat. I love Carrie Underwood even more. I watch American Idol and I voted for both of them.

You can stand behind me! I am a 43 year old guy and I admitted that I like Kelly Clarkson. You have no worries, they will throw the stones at me.

I think Carrie Underwood is amazing, however I don't like what they are doing to her. She has an awesome voice, but they have her singing too loud. Just ler her sing and let her natural voice come out.
RU, I agree about Taylor Swift. That girl needs to stop dating and learn how to enjoy life.

I know, I know, but she has had about 6 songs out and ALL of them are about being dumped on (Where she uses the names and details of her real life) or about being swept away on a knight on a white horse. This is Country music we are talking about here, she needs to wrote a song about something else. Get a different subject.
Oh and BTW, my daughter is allowed to date when she is 25. She can go boy crazy then, after I meet the lad of course.
