Does anyone use 50/50 lighting

LFS talked me into replacing my single bulb with a 50/50 light bulb. Does any ones else use this?
Have spent too much $$$$ in the past two weeks to afford to replace lighting right now.

50/50 bulbs are great if you only have one bulb. They provided a nice amount of day light and Actinic light, but if you have and actinic and a seperate daylight bulb currently i don't see why you would have to upgrade.

I have a one bulb fixture that My son used for his fresh water setup. To get him out of his room and interacting with the family again I offered to fund this SW setup. We are all enjoying it and spend quality time setting in front of this new venture marveling at the activity.
Best idea I have had in a long time, probably the most costly also...but who can put a price on quality family time these days!
Would do it again in a skinny minute.
