does every tank get ich

Ive had it in my last tank , eveything gone, I waited 2 years and starting over with a new tank and am courios, How to prevent a second disaster.

go slow and acclimate ur inhabitants slowly...remove anything that dies...be smart!!!

To prevent getting ich you need to make sure you don't add any fish to your main setup tank that are infected.
Quarantine, quarantine, quarantine
I quarantine all fish for a minimum of 4 weeks using hyposalinity to kill any seen/unseen parasites.
