Does flow really matters!?

Ok, my question is......say i have 2 tank, 14G and 20G...both are running on HOB and a Hydor Koralia #1. in total of 800GPH thats about 50+ turnover for the 10G and about 40 Turnover for the 20G...say both tank i am keeping Hammer,Torch,a BTA with LR and LS. How would it effect the livestock in both tanks? will the LPS and BTA would not be healthy bcoz of overflow? or is there even such thing as overflow?...(HOB and Pump are not creating Sandstorm in both tank)...i need help...really appreciate the help guys!

If its only a FOWLER (fish only with live rock) then no it doesnt realy matter, but if you get anemones and such, it becomes vital! So dont skimp out on flow if thats your case! Korilla's don't cost much, you could get one of those, i'm getting mine when I get corals latter on down the road(July 10 probably, my b-day!)
