Does marine fish need strontium?

I've seen quite a number of commercial liquid strontium supplements around....does marine fishes really need strontium supplements?
I've read somewhere that strontium is good/necessary for corals and anemones....

maintain you cal,alk and ph. Do regular w/c and feed good foods is enough don't get into adding all that mumbo jumbo. If you have a reef you can add dt or phytoplankton but most quality foods and w/c will give you enough trace especially in a FO
