no.....no...RO water is filtered/purified tap water, Using water conditioner helps your tap water quality, but still does not remove many minerals and elements which can harm your tank in the long run, best advice buy a RO unit, or use RO water you buy from walmart, grocery stores etc...avoid tap water...if you absolutely have to use tap water, use Prime. it is the best on the market IMO, if you can not find Prime, use AMQuel, good stuff too...
